Challenge and you get to see their hand. If they really had no card of the old colour, you draw the penalty plus two.

UNO FLIP! card list and rules

Every deck has 112 double-sided cards. Tables use one complete deck for every four players, rounded up. Multiple decks are mixed together before each round; everyone still starts with seven cards. A Flip card turns the deck, the discard pile and every hand over to the other face, so the same physical card is a mild Light-side card one moment and a brutal Dark-side card the next.

Light Side red · yellow · green · blue

8 Draw One next player draws 1, loses their turn
8 Skip next player loses their turn
8 Reverse direction flips; acts as a Skip with two players
8 Flip everything turns over to the Dark Side
4 Wild name the colour, playable any time
4 Wild Draw Two name the colour, next player draws 2

Multiplayer: Cloudflare keeps the authoritative game state and sends each player only their own hand. If the organizer disconnects, another connected player can manage the table. An absent player's turn advances after a 15-second grace period. If everybody leaves, play pauses. Tables expire 24 hours after the last player activity.

Solo: play against one to three bots. Bots choose from their own hand and public table information, not your hidden cards. Use Pause to save and return to the lobby. Clearing this browser's storage removes your solo save.

Larger rooms have no fixed player-count cap in the app, but server resources, network traffic, and device limits still apply. Players must join before the round starts. More people also means a longer wait between turns.

House rule retained from your original game: the opening discard is always a number card. UNO catch windows last five seconds.
